Cupramontana's Green Cross is a voluntary organization (O.D.V) it's apolitical, secular and makes no social class distinctions.

Founded in 1982, thanks to the precious collaboration of Luigi Stefanelli, volunteer from the Green Cross of Pioltello (MI) who recently had moved in the small town of Cupramontana, to the volunteer's constant work, to the citizenship's financial support and to the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fabriano e Cupramontana's contributions our oragnization has been able to guarantee for 37 years the services that to this day we continue to render to our and our neighboring town's citizenship ( Staffolo, San Paolo di Jesi, Maiolati Spontini, Monteroberto, Castelbellino).

To the present day the Green Cross counts about 80 volunteers, 9 employees and 4 volunteer from the National Civil Service, and together they guarantee active service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also have available 2 A-ALS type ambulances (geared for emergencies), 4 B type ambulances (geared for secondary services) and 2 more vehicles geared to transport patients with disability.
